Students Making A Difference

On Friday, May 5, 2017 Jeff Hogan, WBNW 10TV News Anchor, welcomed students, parents, educators and community supporters to Syntero’s 2017 Catalyst for Positive Change Awards Banquet. Seventeen schools were represented with 72 students recognized for the commitment to community service. Through the application process students were asked to illustrate how their activities supported seven principles of the Catalyst for Positive Change:  Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, Citizenship and Community Service.

Keynote speaker Sarah Nerad shared her story of addiction and her recovery from drug and alcohol addiction since 2007. Sarah was instrumental in creating the OSU Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC), a support program designed to help students in recovery.

The educator and student award recipients from each school were recognized for their efforts before Syntero CEO Julie Erwin-Rinaldi offered closing remarks. She congratulated all students and their families as well as all the people who support the good work these students do every day.

Technical Support Specialist Position Now Available

Syntero is growing! We have added a new position to our Administration team: Technical Support Specialist. The ideal candidate for this part-time position will have an Associate’s Degree, Help Desk experience or be proficient in Microsoft Windows operating systems.

This person will help us develop the Syntero Help Desk, providing exceptional support and customer service to staff in all of our locations. They will collaborate with internal staff and external parties on behalf of Syntero.

Syntero Summer Programs for Kids

Syntero’s Summer Groups are coming back! All groups are FREE to any student in Dublin, Grandview, Hillard & Upper Arlington City Schools. Dates and times are being confirmed but we want to share this with all parents. Our groups are designed for students in all grades, K – 12. Online registration will open April 1, 2017. Help Me Grow

Help Me Grow recently release a TV commercial to encourage parents-to-be and new parents to reach out to HMG. They can answer all questions and offer support from conception to age 3. It takes a village, and HMG is there for our community! Please share with anyone you know that could use HMG’s support.
