Have you lost a friend or family member while they served in the Armed Forces? Join us for the Military Survivor Support Group.
Syntero Counseling along with Survivor Outreach Services are offering a new grief support group for anyone who has lost a military member. The group will provide an opportunity for the military families and friends to share their loss and their grief journey, and establish a network of peer support.
Fran Simon, M.S.Ed., LPCC, a counselor with Syntero Counseling and Susan Bogan, Survivor Outreach Services Coordinator, HRCI Contractor will facilitate and lead discussions. Group members will be able to process their grief in an emotionally safe environment, while maintaining a familiar military focus. There is no fee to attend.
WHEN: Once a month on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, beginning on January 18, 2017, 6:30pm – 8:00pm.

SPECIAL NOTE – Our February meeting cannot take place on our usually scheduled 3rd Wednesday and will take place on February 22nd.
Wednesday evening, December 7, 2016, Julie Erwin Rinaldi, Syntero CEO, was awarded the Norman Guitry Award by Mental Health America of Franklin County. The award recognizes exceptional leadership in serving mental health issues in Central Ohio.
Julie was honored to receive this acknowledgment, but only on the terms that it also recognized the team efforts of all at Syntero who work tirelessly to advance the support of those in need of mental health and substance abuse care and the prevention efforts in those areas, as well.
