About Syntero

The mission of Syntero, Inc. is to advocate and support the health and well-being of individuals, families and communities by providing professional, compassionate behavioral health and social services that adapt to the changing needs of the community.

Our Rich History

1975: Northwest Counseling Services, as originally named was founded in 1975 by a group of local like-minded volunteers who recognized the need for mental health support through the community.

2013: Northwest Counseling Services and Dublin Counseling Center (founded in 1978) combined missions to advocate and support the health and well-being of individuals, families and communities. This merger lead by a Board of Directors and rebranding formed what is known today as the charitable non-profit organization Syntero.

2017: Building on Syntero’s mission and the overall need for services, Syntero has expanded their presents to include facilities in Dublin, Hilliard, Lewis Center and Northeast Columbus.

Today: Syntero is nationally accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services.
