In July, Syntero added “inclusiveness” to its existing values of integrity, empowerment and innovation. Syntero is pleased to announce the development of a new Diversity and Inclusion Program, which will focus on programming and operational improvements on behalf of groups or individuals who have experienced trauma due to racism, racial inequity, ageism, sexism, homophobia or xenophobia. Wednesday evening, December 7, 2016, Julie Erwin Rinaldi, Syntero CEO, was awarded the Norman Guitry Award by Mental Health America of Franklin County. The award recognizes exceptional leadership in serving mental health issues in Central Ohio.
Julie was honored to receive this acknowledgment, but only on the terms that it also recognized the team efforts of all at Syntero who work tirelessly to advance the support of those in need of mental health and substance abuse care and the prevention efforts in those areas, as well.
The Ohio State University College of Social Work’s Field Education Department has named Syntero, Inc. “Agency of the Year” for student field placement. This distinguished award recognizes our agency as a premier training ground for students. Our field instructors provide excellent mentorship and internship opportunities, making Syntero a much sought-after placement. We are humbled and honored by this recognition. It is a privilege to support future professionals in the social work field. Syntero – Dublin Counseling Center is pleased to announce that student intern Carla Eiterman was recently presented with the esteemed William B. George Scholarship Award by the Provider Leadership Association. Eiterman received this award at a recent Annual Meeting of the Franklin County ADAMH Board. Carla is working on her graduate degree in Professional Counseling. Syntero is proud of the reputation of our fine student interns and the mentorship received from our professional clinical staff.
