How to be an Askable Parent: Creating Safe Spaces to Talk about Dating Abuse and Support Teens in Unhealthy Relationships

July 15 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Syntero is excited to present “How to be an Askable Parent” VIRTUAL Workshop Series in July 2021. These presentations will help parents and caregivers navigate tough topics and critical conversations with their children and teens, while learning the necessary skills to become their kids’ go-to resource.

In this workshop, participants will learn what teen dating abuse is and why talking to kids about dating abuse is important, learn how to recognize dating abuse in their kids’ relationships, learn how to have open conversations with their kids about dating abuse and help those who are in unhealthy/abusive relationships.

Registered participants will receive an email with the Zoom link and presentation information a few days before the relative registered workshop. Please contact healtheducators@syntero.org with any questions.

Syntero’s Virtual Parent Workshops are made possible by funding from the ADAMH Board of Franklin County.
