How to Survive and Thrive Amidst the Pandemic

Syntero’s new Older Adult support group, How to Survive and Thrive amidst the Pandemic, will help older adults deal with grief and loss in the past year and loss related to the pandemic. The group will also address fears and hopes for the New Year.

Meets: January 14th and 28th; February 11th and 25th; and March 25th at 11am

Emotional Wellness Group

SourcePoint’s Emotional Wellness Group–Anything Bothering You?– is facilitated by Syntero Older Adults Program Clinician Anita Gearhart, MSW. Gearhart guides discussion on emotional wellness at this difficult time.

Meets: Third Thursday of each month; 12:30-1:30 PM

Place: Group currently meets virtually via Zoom.

Advanced registration is required through SourcePoint’s activities calendar.

Coping with the Pandemic Group

This group discusses rotating topics, which are presented by various Older Adult staff members. The Coping with the Pandemic group is facilitated by Syntero Older Adults Community Support Specialist Charity Eilerman. Any older adult in Columbus is welcome to attend.

Meets: Every other Friday at 1:00 PM

Place: Group currently meets virtually via Zoom/phone.

Pre-registration is required through Upper Arlington Senior Center for each group.
