Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counseling
Syntero provides evidenced based therapeutic treatment and counseling services to adults. A specialized staff of master’s level clinicians is trained in a variety of treatment modalities that help individuals, couples, and families deal with substance use disorder , trauma, grief and loss, anger management and other difficult behavioral health issues. The goal of our services is to empower individuals to manage effectively, improve their quality of life, and promote happier, healthier lives.

Syntero offers case management services for adults that are community based and adapted to the individual needs of the client. These services are for Franklin, Delaware and Morrow County residents who are Medicaid eligible or uninsured. Case management services for adults can include: mental health and addiction education/support, parenting/childcare issues, anger management, budgeting and finances, housing, life skills, education, employment and social supports. The goal of Syntero’s case management services is to help individuals reduce the barriers that prevent them from reaching self-sufficiency.

Intensive Outpatient for Substance Use Disorder (SUD)
Syntero offers an intensive outpatient program for adults that are struggling with addiction and behavioral issues. This program is designed to help those adults in early recovery who have experienced ineffective past treatments. The program is evidenced based and proven effective in maintaining long-term sobriety through a matrix model. Syntero’s IOP is facilitated by licensed counselors specializing in addiction treatment. Most private insurance, Medicaid, EAPs, and private pay are accepted.

Syntero and PrimaryOne Health offer primary healthcare services at its Dublin location as well as PrimaryOne’s clinic on Agler Road. This access to consolidated healthcare services improves the health status of clients and families through the integration of mental health, substance abuse, and primary care services in one location. Current clients as well as community members are eligible for primary care services.

Goodwill Partnership – Competitive Employment
Syntero works in tandem with Goodwill Columbus employment specialists to address the mental health needs of their community-based competitive employment services. Syntero provides group services, participant education and training, and specialized case management targeting behavioral health needs. Referrals must come from Goodwill Columbus.
Triple P: Positive Parenting Program
Dealing with disobedience? Struggling with fighting and aggression? Looking for parenting strategies that actually work? Syntero, Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Morrow County United Way off these Triple P classes which will cover:
- The power of positive parenting techniques
- What causes kids behaviors
- Setting goals for change
- Tips on how to reconnect with your child and build your positive relationship
- Giving directions kids are likely to follow
- Recognizing progress and planning for the future
Program runs August 1 – 29 and will be held at Whetstone School & Industries. Each participant will also have 3 one-on-one phone/in-person sessions with the group leaders to make the information really work for their family. You will receive a take-home workbook in these small group sessions. Childcare is available; dinner/snack will be provided.
