“Our staff are among the best in Central Ohio. Incorporating our values of integrity, empowerment, innovation and inclusiveness into all aspects of client care and our operations has created a solid, respectful culture throughout our organization and enables Syntero to impact so many people in the communities we serve.”

-Julie Erwin Rinaldi, M.Ed., Syntero CEO/Executive Director

The feelings of support are echoed from the top down and you really feel it at every point in the agency. The work that we do is hard and it can be emotionally draining hearing clients’ stories of trauma, so knowing that I’m supported at all levels is really comforting.

-School-Based Staff Member

Syntero’s school-based prevention program is a model worthy of export to other organizations on a national level. Prevention staff members have clinical credentials and provide multiple levels of prevention services. Using trauma-informed and multiple evidence-based practice intervention and prevention models, the program is able to assess and refer individual students to a higher level of clinical care, including inpatient care when indicated.

It’s the people themselves that work here; we bring a certain atmosphere–more of a comfort with each other and it’s way more easy-going. I like the relationships we get to build with each other and the atmosphere that we bring to our sites and our [service] locations.

-Human Resources Staff Member

There’s certainly flexibility and very generous PTO. When you’re at work, you can do your best work, because self care is encouraged. So it’s just a wonderful place to work your passions and continue developing yourself professionally.

-Older Adults Program Staff Member

“Having Syntero as a resource is unspeakably beneficial to our staff, students and their families. When we have run out of ideas or resources, it’s wonderful to be able to say, ‘We have another option.’ Syntero clinicians bring a fresh, calm, professional perspective that is often sorely needed in situations of crisis or uncertainty.”
