Syntero Partners to Promote Firearm Safety and Prevent Suicide

Susan Ortega, MSW, LISW-S, Syntero’s director of strategic partnerships and initiatives for Franklin County, poses with Dublin Police Chief Justin Paez (left) and Deputy Chief Greg Lattanzi at the recent Life Side Ohio campaign launch from the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation. The purpose of the campaign is to prevent suicide through the safe storage of firearms and education. Syntero also has a limited number of lock boxes available at all four locations. Lock boxes can be used to safely store firearms and medication. Syntero partners with Columbus Public Health to provide lock boxes for Franklin County residents age 24 or younger with history of or current safety risks.
