Forever Dublin: Make You & Your Home Fit For Aging In Place

Kris Parrish, a Certified Occupational Therapist, will talk about how to prioritize safety modifications and offer recommendations for your home so you can age in place. Home modifications, along with strength and balance training with a physical therapist, play a multidisciplinary role to improve function and safety in your home. Kris will discuss an assessment program, including follow up and training on equipment. (Note: the assessment and training program require a physician referral or current enrollment in an occupational therapy program.

Forever Dublin: Zoom 101

Zoom, an online app, lets you connect with friends and family matter where in the world they may be! You can conduct business and even take classes via your computer or smartphone. Marianne Bailey, founder of OnlineTechLessons.com will show you how to join and participate in a Zoom meeting and how to host your own meeting. You’ll earn how to share your screen and chat with other participants, and create a custom background – a very handy way to keep others from seeing the spaces behind you. There will be time for questions, too.

Catalyst for Positive Change Awards

Syntero will host its 30th Annual Catalyst for Positive Change Awards on Friday, April 16, 2021. The awards will honor Central Ohio high school students who exemplify Syntero’s values of integrity, empowerment, innovation and inclusiveness, as well as resilience during these difficult times.

Touch-free drive thru event

Volunteers wearing face masks will be on hand to help move your items from the trunk of your car. You’ll be asked to drive thru and open the trunk of your car, then remain in your car until a volunteer has removed your items. For everyone’s safety, please wear a face mask.
