Triple P Back-to-School Workshop Series: Managing Fighting and Aggression

Supportive, small group programs to connect with other parents about raising young children. You can attend any or all of the classes below for free.  Open to parents and caregivers of children ages 8 or younger in Delaware or Morrow Counties.

Wednesday, 9/15/211:00-2:30pm: Developing Good Bedtime Routines Get advice on getting your kid to go to bed—and stay there.

Wednesday, 9/22/21-1:00 -2:30 pm: Dealing with Disobedience Get tips on how to get kids to listen and follow directions—and what to do when they don’t.

Wednesday, 9/29/21- 1:00 – 2:30 pm: Managing Fighting and Aggression Learn strategies for teaching kids to solve problems and get along with others.

Unable to make any of the above workshops? Or dealing with a different behavior? Individual parenting support is available at a time that is convenient for you!

Forever Dublin: Master Texting & Messaging

It’s difficult to keep up with all the trends with texting and Facebook messaging. With so many family and friends texting to stay in touch, you’ll want to tune into this session.

During this virtual event Marianne Bailey, founder of OnlineTechLessons.com, will review the basics and help you stretch a bit to learn new trends. They’ll even be a chance for you to practice your new skills.

How to be an Askable Parent: Creating Safe Spaces to Talk about Dating Abuse and Support Teens in Unhealthy Relationships

Syntero is excited to present “How to be an Askable Parent” VIRTUAL Workshop Series in July 2021. These presentations will help parents and caregivers navigate tough topics and critical conversations with their children and teens, while learning the necessary skills to become their kids’ go-to resource.

In this workshop, participants will learn what teen dating abuse is and why talking to kids about dating abuse is important, learn how to recognize dating abuse in their kids’ relationships, learn how to have open conversations with their kids about dating abuse and help those who are in unhealthy/abusive relationships.

Registered participants will receive an email with the Zoom link and presentation information a few days before the relative registered workshop. Please contact healtheducators@syntero.org with any questions.
