Wednesday, 9/15/21– 1:00-2:30pm: Developing Good Bedtime Routines Get advice on getting your kid to go to bed—and stay there.
Wednesday, 9/22/21-1:00 -2:30 pm: Dealing with Disobedience Get tips on how to get kids to listen and follow directions—and what to do when they don’t.
Wednesday, 9/29/21- 1:00 – 2:30 pm: Managing Fighting and Aggression Learn strategies for teaching kids to solve problems and get along with others.

Start the school year off in a positive way!
For parents and caregivers (grandparents, other relatives, guardians, etc.) of children from birth through first grade. Learn how to get more of the behavior you like from your children and less of what you don’t.
Classes will cover:
- What causes kids’ behaviors
- Setting goals for change
- Tips on how to reconnect with your child and build your positive relationship
- Giving directions kids are likely to follow
- Recognizing progress and planning for the future
Each participant will also have 3 one-on-one phone/in-person sessions with the group leaders to make the information really work for their families.

Syntero’s Positive Parenting Program, or Triple P, is designed for parents and caregivers of children birth to age 8. Triple P helps participants learn how to get more desirable behaviors from their children. Triple P is offered free of charge for residents of Delaware and Morrow Counties. Do you feel like your emotions just take over? Does it seem like yo go from one extreme to the other? Is it hard to keep friendships and relationships. This group is designed to help adolescents better cope with the demands of young life and feel more in control.

Syntero is offering free, virtual workshops for parents/caregivers and other adults who work with children and adolescents. Workshops will be staffed by Syntero School-Based clinicians, and will provide education and practical strategies that parents/caregivers and students can use at home. Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session at the end of each workshop. Workshops are open to parents and guardians in Grandview Heights, Upper Arlington and Tolles Career Center schools.
This session is for parents and guardians of students who are in 6th-12th grade.
This group is for teenagers 12 to 18 years old struggling with substance use and considering recovery. Self referred clients or court ordered clients are welcome.
