Outpatient Mental Health & Substance Use Disorder Counseling

Syntero provides evidenced-based therapeutic treatment and counseling services to adults. Our specialized staff of master’s level clinicians is trained in a variety of treatment modalities that help individuals, couples, and families deal with substance use disorder , trauma, grief and loss, anger management and other difficult behavioral health issues. The goal of our services is to empower individuals to manage effectively, improve their quality of life, and promote happier, healthier lives.

Case Management

Syntero's community-based case management services help adults reduce barriers that prevent them from reaching self-sufficiency. Services are adapted for each individual's needs and are available for residents of Franklin, Delaware and Morrow Counties who are Medicaid eligible or uninsured. Services include mental health and addiction education/support, parenting/childcare issues, anger management, budgeting and finances, housing, life skills, education, employment and social supports.

Intensive Outpatient for Substance Use Disorder

Syntero’s intensive outpatient program helps adults who are in early recovery who have experiences ineffective treatments. The evidence-based program has been proven to help participants maintain long-term sobriety through a matrix model. Syntero’s IOP is facilitated by licensed counselors specializing in addiction treatment. Most private insurance, Medicaid, EAPs, and private pay are accepted.

Therapeutic & Support Groups For Adults

Syntero’s groups for provide safe spaces for adults to share experiences and receive support from peers. All groups are facilitated by licensed professionals and require pre-registration.

Goodwill Partnership - Competitive Employment

Syntero works in tandem with Goodwill Columbus employment specialists to address the mental health needs of their community-based competitive employment services.  Syntero provides group services, participant education and training, and specialized case management targeting behavioral health needs.  Referrals must come from Goodwill Columbus.

Columbus State Community College Mental Health Counseling

The Columbus State Delaware Campus has partnered with Syntero through a grant from the Delaware-Morrow Mental Health & Recovery Board to provide free counseling services to any active Columbus State Delaware student. Syntero offers individual counseling, group counseling, and presentations.
