Syntero offers continuing education trainings for staff and community members. Trainings are free for Syntero staff members and interns and only $20 per CEU for community members.
The Role of Guardians ad Litem and Mental Health Providers
Mental health providers often support youth and families who are involved with the justice system, and in the process will collaborate with Guardians ad Litem (GALs). This training will provide education on the role of GALs, scope of practice for mental health providers when responding to court-related records requests, and the role of GALs in court proceedings. Participants will also learn about state and federal laws that guide the practice of GALs and mental health providers who are working with youth who are connected to the court system.

This training is approved for one CEU through the CSWMFT Board for counselors, social workers and marriage and family therapists.
