About the event

In partnership with Rainbow UA, Syntero presents Real Talk, Safe Spaces. This affirming, informative, empowering workshop features Two Rooms/One Goal—One room for adults and caregivers to learn how to support LGBTQ+ youth online with confidence, and One room for Teens and Tweens for any and all t(w)eens, especially those identifying as LGBTQ+.

Digital spaces offer incredible opportunities for LGBTQ+ youth to find community, express themselves, and connect. However, navigating privacy, safety, and healthy boundaries online can be complex for both youth and the adults who support them.

Presenters include Laryssa Gilbert, MS, LPCC-S, Melissa Rotblatt, LISW-S, and Meghan Hubbard, SWT
