Syntero Programs for First Responders
According to the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation, 85% of first responders experienced mental health complications, and police and firefighters are more likely to die by suicide than in the line of duty.

To combat these statistics, Syntero supports the mental health and wellbeing of first responders—police, fire, EMS, and dispatch personnel—and those they serve.

Delaware-Morrow County First Responder Program
Thanks to funding from the Delaware-Morrow Mental Health & Recovery Services Board, Syntero offers four-to- six virtual, free, confidential counseling sessions to ALL first responders working or living in Delaware or Morrow County.

GRIT Program
Syntero contracts with local first responder agencies to provide annual and/or biannual mental wellness check-ins. These sessions provide an opportunity for first responders to meet with a Master's-level licensed behavioral health expert to discuss any work - or non work-related stressors, learn or enhance healthy coping skills, and access assistance with linkage for further services if desired.

Public Safety Services Liaison (PSSL)
Syntero contracts with local police and fire departments to provide a mental health professional embedded in the department to help connect citizens experiencing a crisis with vital community resources.
