Syntero Programs for First Responders

According to the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation, 85% of first responders experienced mental health complications, and police and firefighters are more likely to die by suicide than in the line of duty.

To combat these statistics, Syntero supports the mental health and wellbeing of first responders—police, fire, EMS, and dispatch personnel—and those they serve.

These sessions provide an opportunity for first responders to meet with a Master's-level licensed behavioral health expert to discuss any work - or non work-related stressors, learn or enhance healthy coping skills, and access assistance with linkage for further services if desired.
